Soon a brand new Kindle 3 will be arriving at my home. This is my third Kindle. Both my original Kindle and Kindle 2 have already found good homes with other eager readers. Those who purchased the first Kindle had no simple way to arrange books by subject. Owner-created collections were added to the Kindle 2 and DX with the latest software 2.5 update, too late for me to use them effectively on the Kindle 2. So how do you use the collections feature?...

Amazon’s not one to give exact—or even general—sales figures for Kindle. But just as the previous generation ebook reader was the best-selling thing on the site , so too is Kindle 3. I’ve been reading on and exploring a new Kindle Free 3G +WiFi for three days now, using an Amazon review copy that arrived here in Maine on August 18.  This video presents what I think is so great about the Kindle 3, as well as one disappointment I have in it.
