As a ten-year-old girl, the only life Ann-Marie Dornn had know was that lived within the boundaries of a secluded by vibrant Hutterite community in southern Manitoba, Canada. But in 1969, her parents did the unthinkable. They left the colony with seven children, and little else, to start a new life.
